The “Water Company of the Year” award was given to SUEZ on April 9th at the Global Water Summit in London (UK). The Group also received two distinctions in the “Desalination plant of the Year” and the “Industrial project of the Year” categories.

A recognition of the Group's contribution to the development of the international water sector
SUEZ received the Water Company of the Year Award at the Global Water Summit in London on April 9th. An Award that is given to the water company that made the most significant contribution to the development of the international water sector in 2018.
Two distinctions for the Group's projects
SUEZ also received two distinctions: one in the Desalination Plant of the Year category1 and one in the Industrial Project of the Year category2. The two projects rewarded are Barka 4 IWP, the largest reverse osmosis desalination plant yet built in the Sultanate of Oman, and the Mobile water demineralization systemin Malaysia that has supported operation during facility construction (Pengerang Integrated Complex).
1- For the desalination plant, commissioned during 2018, that represents the most impressive technical or ecologically sustainable achievement in the industry.
2- For the project, commissioned in 2018, that represents the most impressive technical or environmental achievement in the field of industrial water.
